Special arrangements can be made for programs on weekends or at different times. Groups are asked to arrive at least 15 minutes before scheduled start time.
$4 per student, minimum 10 students. Scholarships are available to cover transportation!
Please note: per HI DOE guidelines, HMH requires 1 chaperone per 10 students. All necessary chaperones are free. Additional adults will be charged based upon the structure. 1 adult per 10 students is allowed free. All chaperones are expected to stay with their students. Each adult over this ratio is $8.00. One free adult per 10 students. Exemptions: State Mandated Personal Assistants.
School programs at the Hawaiian Mission Houses encourage vocabulary development, critical thinking skills, address a number of Hawai‘i State Standards (DOE), and are aligned with Common Core where appropriate. Our programs and activities are arranged by themes. If a program appeals to you but is not geared toward your students’ grade level, please contact us to see how we might be able to accommodate you. Please choose the theme or themes that best apply to what you are teaching in the classroom, and then pick the activities you wish to have your students experience during your visit. You may choose multiple themes and activities. Time frames for each activity are given. The activities may add up to only 2 hours. There are also suggested pre-visit and post-visit extension activities available upon request.

Costs for tours
$4 per student
1 adult for every 15 students free, $8 per adult over the ratio
Busing/transportation for under served communities in rural, outlying O‘ahu communities is offered on an as-needed basis.
